Shotlist: COMEDY. Chase. Husband of faithless wife chases his wife and her lover. Main title (4 frames). A wife hurriedly helps her husband pack his suitcase. He departs. Her lover (Max Linder) arrives and is made at home. The husband unexpectedly returns and sees the curtains closed. He determines to catch his wife and her lover. The wife hears her husband's return and the lovers make their escape through the window. The husband follows. The lovers descend into the sewers, run through them and emerge at street level, still chased by the husband. They then run into a house and take the lift. The husband tries to cling onto the underside of the lift despite the protestations of the concierge. Once the lift has been raised the lovers then descend trapping the husband underneath and squashing him. The lovers run off followed by the now midget-sized husband. [The husband is now played by a child]. The lovers run along the street and bump into two gendarmes (318ft). Incomplete (420ft).
